Melbourne blues powerhouse, Catch 23, is back and bolder than ever with the release of their third album, "Stomping Ground". Released in September 2026, the album features 12 tracks which showcase the band’s signature blend of raw blues energy.
Following the success of their first two albums, "Blues Hotel" and "Bullet Full of Blues", Catch 23 have doubled down on what they do best: honest, hard-hitting blues steeped in soul. These are some of our favourite cover songs, played our way, and road-tested over years of gigs in pubs, clubs, and venues big and small.
We recorded this album at Salt Studios with minimal overdubs and very little post-production, keeping the performances as honest and true as possible. What you hear is us, playing together in the moment. We hope you enjoy listening to these songs as much as we have enjoyed playing them over the years.
